Kundalini Yoga for the Aquarian Age
What Will Tomorrow Bring?
Human existence is being transformed
into something new. It is gradually being raised to a higher level of awareness
and given a broader range of communication skills. As
we look through the eyes of infinite possibilities, we may observe this
transformation in progress.
Knowledge was once passed from one generation to the next through the
only means available, speaking. Now we truly are living in the age of
no-limit information transference. The entire history and scope of
the human experience is available to all, any time, anywhere there is
the Internet. Yet,
as marvelous as this may be, it is just a baby step to what is ultimately
possible.
In the coming Aquarian Age, the physical body will not hold the same attraction
as it does today. People will be seeking fulfillment of the self through
an appreciation of reality that pushes past our present 'body' fascination.
Traditional methods of self-gratification: sex, sport, entertainment, grooming,
any and all physical indulgences, will be exposed as relatively valueless.
In its place, a
new physic-sensory system is developing; a capability that
will allow individuals to connect with each other in ways previously
thought impossible -
far beyond present limitations. However fun it would
be to predict the specifics involved, we are certain human communications
will utilize something other than the ability to speak and read.
Human beings
will be looking back at the Piscean Age as
a time when 'differences' were worshipped
to the point of insanity. Men versus women, black versus white, homosexual
versus heterosexual, thin versus fat, Muslim versus Christian, rich
versus poor, on and on it went. Until, that is, the promise of Pisces was
finally fulfilled.
Pisces is the age of confronting 'discrimination', pushing the issue rudely
in our collective faces until it could no longer be denied or accepted.
The ultimate goal of this grand age is the promise of all people and nations
becoming one. Not just politically correct — deeper still is the
idea of 'letting go'. No more bigotry. No more separation. Urging
you to move beyond "Just
Say No" to the more highly evolved, "Just Let Go". Let
go and find yourself more strongly connected than ever.
We are now merging into the "innovative
thinking" Age of
Aquarius, wherein the old is woven into new cloth. All is one now.
No gender, no color, no religion, no differences. Are we a body or
a soul? Now one, then the other, and at the same time both. We move
beyond the separate elements into worshiping the interconnectiveness
of all things. It is our only hope, the only way to avoid self-imposed
extinction.
Kundalini
Yoga has emerged from behind the walls of secrecy to prepare us. Those
who take part in this yogic technology will be at the forefront of
our inevitable evolutionary process. May you be forever blessed.
Below is a lecture given by Yogi Bhajan:
By the year 2013, the world population will be 7 billion. Changes in
technology, psychology and sociology will be huge. The massive
amount of information available in the computer age will make it difficult
for people to cope with their ordinary lives. The body, mind and
spirit must be organized to meet this natural human phenomena.
Every human, no matter to which religion they belong, will face a reality
in the future where they will need a strong, healthy nervous system. They
will need mental clarity and the back-up of spiritual strength to face this
coming world. We can say with confidence, the way to do this is
through yogic techniques by which body, mind and spirit can be enhanced.
To sustain themselves, tomorrow's individuals must have yogic training. It
is a need of the times. By 2013, twenty-five to sixty percent of the
population will be practicing yoga. People will see that those who practice
yoga are bright and beautiful, calm and blissful. They will recognize
that the yogic community is sincere and dependable, serving and giving.
Yoga, with its every system, is going to prevail. We clearly see this trend
and it will lead to the end of human insanity and the prevalence of yogic
glory. Yoga is a science for all humanity. It is the custodian
of human grace and radiance. It holds a great future for every human
being. It brings mental caliber for purpose and prosperity of life. The
future of yoga is bright, bountiful and blissful."
